How to dry out an acne scab quickly?

So I had this really big zit on my nose and me, being the idiot I am picked at it. I woke up and there was a disgusting scab. I have no idea what to do about it. Concealer just makes it look worse and I want to treat it not cover it. I've heard some say neosporin is good so I put it on, but then I heard it's bad. I also heard toothpaste, and rubbing alcohol. I'm not sure which one is best. Please, I'm just trying to dry out this scab ASAP! So whatever works quickest! I don't even feel comfortable going out in public like this!
